Herbal Oil (India)

Herbal oils, refer to any class of volatile oils which are extracted from flowers, leaves, fruits, woods and gums of certain plants. An oil is "essential" in the sense that it carries a distinctive scent, or essence, of the particular herb or plant. The oil is extracted generally by the process of distillation. Other processes include expression, or solvent extraction.
