Elastics cords have a distinctive feature like dense elasticity or stretch ability due to which these cords can be expanded or broadened and can be brought back in its original form. These elastics are strong and have a long life. These elastics are well known for its easy to use characteristic and they come in different form like braided, woven and knitted cords. The braided elastics can be formed by blending of materials or substances like rubber and polyester and these mixtures are finally converted into braided elastics. The knitted elastics are manufactured by applying various types of variety of tensions and thickness and by interlacing yarn or thread and lastly the woven cords are formed by using various techniques of weaving.



Elastic cords are invariably used in the industries textiles and apparel industry and they are also used as bedding tapes, for medical products like curing wrapping tapes, for furniture elastics, reflective tapes, car seat belts and many more. Other types of elastic cords are crochet elastic tapes, rigid elastic tapes and curtain elastic tapes these can also be printed and embossed.



Elastic cords are also used for ladies panty, elastic bra straps for ladies, elastic straps for men’s inner wear such as boxers and briefs.
