8051 Development Board is compatible with 40 pin microcontrollers, Philips / Atmel.. (it comes with AT89S52). Separate On-board ISP Programmer for Atmel microcontrollers and Facility to program Philips microcontroller through ISP on serial port. Programming can be done without removing the microcontroller to the ZIF socket. Board can be used has a Flash programmer. Many industrial applications program can be tested on the board: Digital Temperature controllers, Motor drivers, Memory interfacing, counters, timers...
Pantech Solutions Embedded Development module is full-featured general-purpose development board for 8051 family. It has been designed to allow engineers and students to easily exercise and explore the capabilities of 8051 microcontrollers. At the heart of the development board is Atmel/Phillips microcontrollers, Atmel’s AT89C5x/AT89S5x, Philips’s P89C51RD2. The development board provides advance features like ISP and IAP. The microcontroller has 64KB flash memory for Philips. Flash and on-chip RAM memory varies to the microcntroller. The development board comes with RS-232 interface allow user to download program to the uC directly from PC for Philips Microcontroller only. Atmel’s devices can use separate ISP programmer provided for Atmel. The embedded board and related software routines help the system designers to rapidly design and prototype their designs based on 8051.
