DVB QAM Modulator (China)

DIGICAST DMB-5100-S DVB QAM Modulator, is main headend device of CATV industry. It can receive the MPEG-TS signal from MPEG-2 Encoder, DVB TS Multiplexer, DVB gateway, MPEG-2 TS Scrambler, VOD server, etc, and then RS code, modulation and digital QAM signal output.

At the same time it can be called Multi-protocol TS processor and QPSK-QAM trans-modulator. It receives the QPSK signal from satellite (you also can choose DVB-CDVB-T or DS signal from HFC system as input signal then trans-modulates the input signal to digital QAM signal output. It also support MPEG-2 TS multiplex function, which obtain the PSI/SI information coming from each input port and multiplex them up to 1 TS with PCR error Correction. DMB-5100-S QAM modulator is mainly applied to transmitting DVB-C signal in HFC, MMDS and MUDS system and is the best choice of broadcasters.
