Following 11 years in the engineering group at Potlatch’s Lewiston, Idaho paper mill, Ron Brooks, CMIR, ASA has spent 18 years in the investment recovery (IR) profession. He has led corporate programs for Potlatch Corporation and Weyerhaeuser Company and managed the forest products group for EquipNet Direct, a web based IR service provider. Additionally he has managed multiple process line and complete plant closures from the initial inventory of the idle assts through the demolition process.

The company provides evaluation services for machinery and equipment from individual assets to complete plants. It also provides marketing and sales of idle asset in addition to the location of good used machinery in the secondary market. The company provides inventory lists, estimated fair market value (FMV) and marketing strategies for the assets.



The company also provides project management services for idled process lines and complete plant closures.
